Derek Jackson, Branch Manager of the Torrington offfice, began with Burns Insurance in 1992. He is a life long resident of Goshen county and grew up on a farm and ranch in the area. Upon finishing high school, Derek attended both Casper College and the University of Wyoming attaining a Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Economics. Derek focuses on the farm and ranch, commercial and crop needs of client in the Goshen county and surrounding areas. Torrington, Wyoming is located in the south east corner of Wyoming and is the county seat of Goshen County. Torrington is a small farming/ranching community with a town population of about 5,800. Goshen County has a population of about 12,500.
